I found the correct ratio for my computer monitor, though, so now that's fixed. (Part of the reason was that the aspect ratio was lower than I wanted it to be. It looked horrendous-still kinda does, tbh, but DEFINITELY less so-but hey, it was fullscreen.

The last BETA releases by AMD were delivered to support Freesync and the recent driver update for GTA V. I was relieved, but got tired of looking at such a small screen when playing my OPEN WORLD SANDBOX GAME FROM ROCKSTAR GAMES, so I went into the settings and turned on Fullscreen. Important: Depending on what tessellation level you set. it has way better draw distances, improved grass, shadows and tessellation quality. So after one of the many times it crashed, I turned on Safe Mode and it didn't crash. Playing GTA 5 on a PC is an entirely different experience from other. The solution, it turned out, was really, really weird. I'd really appreciate it.Įdit: I am no longer taking any solutions as the crashing has stopped. If any of you guys have ANY advice for me, PLEASE send it straight here. The only two error messages I got before it crashed were a "Failed zlib call" (that I have hopefully fixed.I hope) and a "Memory error" one (don't remember the exact words). Started happening after the mission "Complications" in Story Mode. Online apparently works just fine, because it only crashed ONCE before I was able to play through multiple missions without being interrupted! Modern architectures Fermi, Kepler, and Maxwell included include dedicated tessellation units that allow for independent processing of tessellated objects.
You wanna know the worst thing about this? All of this happened in STORY MODE. If you’re struggling for FPS in GTA V, there are some surprising settings you can change that could have a big impact on your performance.

I looked up a page that detailed how to fix it on, but a) I think it won't work anymore, and b) even if it DID work, the link for step 2 led to nowhere. Most recently, however, I got an error message that stated that there was an error with the memory. (I didn't keep track of the number of times, though, sadly I was a little too frustrated.) Before I begin, I just wanna say that I have gone through multiple steps to stop the crashing from happening-contacted Rockstar Customer Support, updated my GeForce NVidia driver TWICE, verified the game's files multiple times, and uninstalled and reinstalled the ♥♥♥♥er MULTIPLE TIMES.
